It is a type of toque Macaque monkey and the international union for conservation of Nature considered it as a Endangered species.

It is because the monkeys are damaging the cultivating crops so we want to take this decision told by Mr. Samarasinghe.

The China is going to split this and sending of 1,000 of Chinese zoos, however srilanka is not sending the whole 1,00,000 monkeys in one order.
